- AGM (Annual General Meeting)
The government requires the AGM to be held once in every calendar year
within 6 months of the financial year end.
However, small companies are exempt from auditing. You can find the criteria for small companies here.
Recent legislative changes have taken place for companies whose financial year end is on or after August 31, 2018.
- The Annual Return
The annual return of private companies must be filed with ACRA within needs be filed with ACRA within 1 month of the AGM date i.e. 7 months from the financial year end. The annual return provides critical information that helps the stakeholders in the company to make informed decisions. The annual return is an electronic form lodged with ACRA through its online filing system and contains important particulars of the company such as the names of the directors, its members and the date to which the financial statements of the company are made up to. There will be a fine for late filing.

The corporate tax filing is every 30 November of the succeeding year from your year of incorporation.
